If you want to see a central station [or any other business I can think of] that is without comparison, visit Rapid. Only misstep I took was bringing three of my staff with me, all of whom now want to apply for jobs at Rapid. First the electronics. I’m not really the one to tell you about that, other than to tell you that there are at least 150 operator stations, manned, handling all kinds of signals, alarm and video and audio. The state of art electronics in the environment is space age science fiction stuff. If you think I am exaggerating then I challenge you to visit the facility and if you’re not as impressed [blown away is more like it] I’ll get you free monitoring, or at least a free alarm contract !!]; that’s how confident I am that you have never seen anything like this, nor will you no matter what central station you visit. I do have to admit that when I was asked what I thought I did say “what do I know; central stations I saw was Holmes Protection in NYC where I saw all the McCulloch Loop receivers wire coming and going and other central stations where there was an operator sitting in a basement with a screen and phone." I’ve seen plenty of up-scale homes; up to the minute design and technology as well as old world master craftsmanship. The details at Rapid in the finishes match anything I’ve seen, and I’ve never seen anything like this in an office. I don’t want to spoil the fun and shock – go visit, and any of your customers who want to know why you’re sending the monitoring to Rapid – just offer to take or send them for a visit to the facility. That will seal the deal for sure. ********************* NYELSA Convention ********************* Congratulations to the New York Electronic and Life Safety Association, especially to its hard working officers, board and especially newly minted Executive Director, Jason Etter [who BTW also owns and operates an alarm company] and association president, Trevor McEnaney. The event was a success; well planned, executed and attended. Lots of vendors displaying their product and services and great assortment of alarm dealers. If you’re not a member, join. If you’re already a member, get more involved; they need and are looking for more people to participate. ******************** STANDARD FORMS Alarm / Security / Fire and related Agreements click here: www.alarmcontracts.com *************************** CONCIERGE LAWYER SERVICE PROGRAM FOR THE ALARM INDUSTRY - You can check out the program and sign up here: https://www.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/concierge or contact our Program Coordinator Stacy Spector, Esq at 516 747 6700 x 304. *********************** ALARM ARTICLES: You can always read our Articles on our website at ww.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/alarm-articles updated daily ******************** THE ALARM EXCHANGE - the alarm industries leading classified and business exchange - updated daily ************************* Wondering how much your alarm company is worth?
