Ken
I have another suggestion pertaining to commercial contracts.
A provision that would allow the alarm company to use the "client" name and or logo  i.e. Ford, Microsoft, or the local grocery store , etc in web or print advertisements, as so many do, some with and some without specific permission.
 Yours
Alan

This is an original idea.  What’s involved?  You can’t use a trademark without permission, though I am not so sure you can’t say you have many prestigious customers, like ABC or XZY, especially if you put the ™ or ® after their name.  It may be a fair use of the name.  I have to defer to the trademark attorneys on this one.
There is nothing in the Standard Form Agreements that imposes confidentiality on the alarm company, or the subscriber for that matter.  in other words, there is nothing specifically in the Standard Form Agreements that would permit or prohibit the right to disclose the relationship.  That may not be the case if you are signing the subscriber’s agreement.  Many companies impose confidentiality in their agreements and you are not permitted to disclose the relationship.
If you’re an avid grade B movie fan, as I am, it’s not too hard to conger up a scenario where the alarm guy gets kidnapped unless he reveals the code into the secured building of his customer.  Maybe it’s better idea not to advertise who you provide security to.
