FIRE PANEL ADVICE FROM A PRO
*****************
Mr Ken
In ref to the Guy with the 128 panel. I have a school with a Notifer fire alarm system with NO communicator. I have the burglar system, using an Ademco 128 Panel. I called ademco tec support and they said that the 128 has a commercial UL Fier Zone in their panel, and the 128 comes with a second dialer, all you have to do is plug it in. So if the Guy with 128 problems will plug in the second dialer and hook it to a POT line or a GSM communicator he wont have to wory about your contract form.

OK, not sure if this is intended as a joke.  So plug in the to a POT line or GSM communicator and "wont have to wory about your contract form".  You think?  I'm worried by a lot more than that, quite frankly, like if you actually were able to get an alarm license and why.  Seems like a good argument for why bother with the license if you have one.
Having a proper contract in place has nothing to do with the equipment or installation.  You need the contract precisely because no system or service is infallible and no contract equals no equity value.
There are panels that will legally handle the fire and security systems.  That's why we are creating a Rider to the Fire All in One which was the topic of yesterday's article.  I suggest you get someone to read it to you.

HOLIDAY PARTY
***************
Each year I invite the New York alarm industry to my office holiday party.  This year I'd like to extend the invitation to all of you in the alarm industry on this forum who may be in New York on December 14, 2015, in the evening, from 7pm to 10 pm.  The party is on Long Island, Nassau County, at my home, casual, open bar and food, so we need to know how many to plan for.  No walk ins.  You need to rsvp if you're coming by Dec 3.  Those who rsvp they are attending [you and a guest] will get the details.  So if you'd like to come, and I look forward to seeing many of you, please rsvp by Dec 3, 2015 by emailing our office manager Amy at alaveglia@kirschenbaumesq.com or calling her at 516 747 6700 x 313.  Yes, our Contract Administrator, Eileen Wagda 516 747 6700 ext 312 will be there so you can negotiate with her for contract discounts.  Our licensing attorney Nicoletta Lakatos will also be there and I am sure will be happy to answer your licensing questions as well as our collection and defense attorneys and staff.  I'll be too busy eating and drinking to be of much assistance. Jeff Zwirn will probably be there and he stays sober to answer questions all night.  Maybe Bart Didden too, so I'll have security all night just in case.
