Anon please ********************** Response ********************** While it is best to get a K&K Contract signed for each location, there are times when it's fine to have a "Master Agreement" and Rider for Multiple Locations signed. Here's how the K&K Contract forms work when you are trying to cover more than one location. First of all, the owner has to be the same at each of the locations. Second, the systems need to be within the same category, security or fire. You can't use a Security Agreement if any of the locations will be getting a fire alarm; same for using a Fire Alarm Agreement and then putting a security system at another location [or even in the first location for that matter - the contract is for a fire alarm]. You start with the appropriate contract, and the easiest one to work with is the Commercial All in One, which covers all types of security systems and services, including among other systems, cameras and access control. So let's start with the Commercial All in One. It gets filled out for the one location. If you know the other locations then you don't need the Rider for Multiple Locations because you can list all the locations along with equipment, services and charges for each location on the Schedule of Equipment and Services. If you don't know the future locations you use the Rider for Multiple Locations. This will refer to your original contract as the Master Agreement and add the protection of the contract to the future locations. The details of future locations, including the equipment, services and pricing, will be in the exchange of emails [or correspondence] requesting a quote, the quote and the acceptance. A new contract is not needed. Again be mindful that the subscriber must be the same entity for all locations and the systems and services must be within the same category, generally security or fire. If in doubt use your Concierge Service and get assistance from K&K. **************** STANDARD FORMS Alarm / Security / Fire and related Agreements. click here: www.alarmcontracts.com *************************** CONCIERGE LAWYER SERVICE PROGRAM FOR THE ALARM INDUSTRY - You can check out the program and sign up here: https://www.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/concierge or contact our Program Coordinator Stacy Spector, Esq at 516 747 6700 x 304. *********************** ALARM ARTICLES: You can always read our Articles on our website at ww.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/alarm-articles updated daily ******************** THE ALARM EXCHANGE - the alarm industries leading classified and business exchange - updated daily ************************* Wondering how much your alarm company is worth?
