COMMENT ON SURVEILLANCE SIGNS
***********************
Ken,
    Re: Surveillance signs.
We use the following language on our signage when installing CCTV:
NOTICE (In Red & Bold) "Activity on this premises subject to video recording. Video surveillance in use."
    Just FYI if it's helpful.

The letter to the tenants probably can, and probably will, be read by the general public so it should be similar to the sign.
Letter:
"Dear tenants,
Security cameras have been installed and areas are under selected live video surveillance."
Sign:
"Areas are under selected live video surveillance"

QUESTION: BUSINESS NAME AND LICENSE NAME

Ken
Can we use our DBA name on our contracts and in general, and can we use more than one corporation under the same license?

Best answer is no.  You must use the name you have been licensed under and each entity will need it's own license.  Of course it depends on the licensing laws in your jurisdiction so the above is a general statement that I am sure applies in most places.
You need to be careful with use of your name in a licensed jurisdiction and in fact even in jurisdictions where you don't need an alarm license.  Your proper and full name belongs in advertising and on contracts.  If you use a DBA then make sure your licensing agency knows of the DBA and permits you to use that name; otherwise get the license in that name.  If the licensing agency knows you as XYZ Corp then don't think you can advertise and have Joe's Security Services on your contracts.
As a general principle of law you should disclose the true entity when doing business.  It's important to use Inc., Incorporated, Corp, Corporation, LTD or Limited if that is your correct name.  If you use a DBA make sure you have complied with any filing requirements in your jurisdiction.  One hopeful benefit of incorporating is to avoid personal liability for certain debts.  Don't lose that advantage by using the wrong name.
