But back to the topic. Why would anyone, including Anonymous, want to cancel a fire alarm contract or find the customer a new vendor? Anonymous, or any alarm company, could become a USA Central highly valued customer, get a fully compliant M2M fire communicator for free and negotiate a new higher RMR contract for their business and bottom line? Simply amazes me that dealers don’t take advantage of our offering, especially when USA's monthly cellular fee is less than the major manufacturers or carriers. Bart A. Didden,President U.S.A. There could be lots of reasons an alarm company doesn’t want to continue with a customer. I agree that before losing a customer it makes sense to consider alternative. Updating a system and getting more money from the customer would be ideal and likely to solve a lot of the problems with the customer. Selling the account or just giving it away is another option. There will certainly be times when no option other than canceling makes sense, in which case you can still consider just canceling or sending to K&K for collection if the customer has breached the contract. If you start canceling too many customers then perhaps you need to calm down and take a break. It’s not always easy dealing with customers, especially when they are hysterical and blame you [but I wouldn’t really know about that personally]. ************************* Help this forum grow - and thanks to those who have already responded ******************** If you are on The Alarm Exchange you should welcome exposure on this forum provides.
