The phone number that every call from them comes from is the same, all the time. Since we are a two call verification state, at least one call is to a cell phone. We make it a point to have our customers put that number in their phones as a contact so they know they need to answer. It works. Stan Corn, Alarms, Inc ************************** Response ************************** That’s great idea. Too many alarm companies don’t even mention that there is a separate central station monitoring the accounts, let alone tell the customer the central station’s name and phone number. Many central stations answer their phone and identify as either the name of the dealer or simply central station. With all the spam calls customers who don’t recognize a caller may not pick up and may in fact have all unidentified and pre-approved numbers blocked. Unanswered verification calls obviously are not helpful. I suggest you also recommend cameras as a verification tool. While some states mandating verification before dispatch may not require or even recognize cameras for verification, I personally think it’s the best way to verify, especially if a problem situation is visible. Cameras are offered by lots of manufacturers and are affordable, including the DIY versions. The All in One agreements cover all types of security equipment, systems and services, and it’s a good idea to offer all or most of these services. *************************** STANDARD FORMS Alarm / Security / Fire and related Agreements click here: www.alarmcontracts.com *************************** CONCIERGE LAWYER SERVICE PROGRAM FOR THE ALARM INDUSTRY - You can check out the program and sign up here: https://www.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/concierge or contact our Program Coordinator Stacy Spector, Esq at 516 747 6700 x 304. *********************** ALARM ARTICLES: You can always read our Articles on our website at ww.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/alarm-articles updated daily ******************** THE ALARM EXCHANGE - the alarm industries leading classified and business exchange - updated daily ************************* Wondering how much your alarm company is worth?
