ADDITIONAL FOOD FOR THOUGHT Chet Donati DMC SECURITY SERVICES INC 56 yrs and still going **************************** Response **************************** Congratulations on your success and longevity in business. While you can certainly cram a lot of experience in a short time in business its far more likely that 50 plus years of successfully navigating in this business is going to expose you to most situations and advice from our "elders" should always be considered carefully and usually heeded. It's so hard finding any help, let alone good or excellent help. You're not alone dealing with this issue. Yet, you must stay in control of your business and selecting and managing competent employees is your job; delegate this responsibility carefully. Keep the cost of living in mind. Compensating your employees is essential not only to attract them but to keep them. Your only options are to take the money from your pocket or raise your prices to cover your expenses, including your expenses. It's not easy to do but it is interesting that some business people understand this, or are guiding by their optimistic philosophy in life and business; they have no problem "appreciating" the value of their services and charging appropriately for those services. Presumably some of this money filters down to the employees. As an employer you always have this on your mind, and you should. ****************************** STANDARD FORMS Alarm / Security / Fire and related Agreements. click here: www.alarmcontracts.com *************************** CONCIERGE LAWYER SERVICE PROGRAM FOR THE ALARM INDUSTRY - You can check out the program and sign up here: https://www.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/concierge or contact our Program Coordinator Stacy Spector, Esq at 516 747 6700 x 304. *********************** ALARM ARTICLES: You can always read our Articles on our website at ww.kirschenbaumesq.com/page/alarm-articles updated daily ******************** THE ALARM EXCHANGE - the alarm industries leading classified and business exchange - updated daily ************************* Wondering how much your alarm company is worth?
