Monitoring cameras

Ken
Do you have an agreement that covers live remote cameras?  We are doing this business and it’s the fastest growing segment of our growth.

The Commercial All in One and the Residential All in One covers all security products and services, and that includes cameras.  The cameras can be true CCTV or more commonly, monitored video off-site via internet to the customer directly and a professional monitoring center.  You don’t need a different contract.
If you intend to do only cameras there is a separate agreement for that, but it’s limited to cameras.

To Bart I got you beat.....
Going back into the 60's-70's in middle of New Yuck [sic York] a fire alarm (or what could be consider a fire alarm) tripped.  Someone called in and said "no fire".
The fire department burned to the ground..  Ever since then they will not stop a dispatch.

Credit cards surcharge from article on September 10, 2022

Convenience charges. Gas stations add about 10 cents per gallon, utility companies add not one but several charges, then you pay toll driving to work and soon there will be congestion fee estimated around $20. Credit card charges are drop in a bucket compared to all the fees we have to pay.

Stan Martin/SIAC replied in your Newsletter of Sept 12, about my comments of August 2.  He seemed to be attacking my personal credibility, rather than the issues that are challenging the fragmented stakeholders.  That was expected because we see the issues from very different perspectives… political vs. rank & file operational.  And that’s ok…we don’t have to agree, but let us have full public disclosure and let our respective audience exploit from their perspective.  I interact pro bono by simply sharing “observations” from deep dive research, with friends and colleagues who create and manage the millions of RMR contracts; and share with the centers of influence like the political groups mentioned by Stan. We help to protect net-worth.  After my 50 years of strategic planning, including M&A, now in retirement, I am not offended if few recipients use their “delete” buttons.  We get a good balance of “boos” and “applause”.   We would like to see SIAC respond to some of the “List of 20” considerations, including AVS-01, for “Defunding and Repurposing Alarm Associations”.

Difference of opinion makes for interesting debate and sometimes raises important issues.  Police response; false alarms; alarm associations are all topics of interest.
          Don’t shoot the messenger.
