We are using your contracts. We have a potential customer who wants a camera in his own bedroom and cameras in his children's bedrooms. The children are over ten years old. First, is this something we should even be doing? How much of a gray area is this? Second, if we do move forward, is there anything additional we need to put into the contract, beyond the All in One and the Disclaimer Notice, to protect ourselves? anon *********************** Response *********************** It's not illegal for a home owner to install cameras, even audio, in the residence. I would use visible cameras, not hidden. I would require a Residential All in One and the Disclaimer Notice. In the Disclaimer Notice you should add: "Subscriber has been cautioned that Florida is all party state for audio listening and recording and there may be privacy issues even if it's only his family, certainly for others.
