    Regarding the FTC click to cancel rule.  In your article you said that the "increase after a “trial period ends” provision was unlikely to affect alarm contracts.  Giving the first month free as a trial period is common practice for PERS dealers.  Should they update their contracts to comply?

            The K&K contracts have had many updates throughout 2024 and the FTC was one of them; Updates for 2025 will certainly be required.

  The three greatest lies:
1) The check is in the mail.
2) You get a lifetime warranty. (The warranty actually ends when you can't see the installer's tail lights anymore.)
3) Tying a knot in the cable acts as a surge protector. (Lightning, common mode interference, induction)
    And Bart is correct: "use Ferrite beads or rings" for common mode interference on cables and wires. 
    For lightning protection (and your equipment will blow up anyway) use UL 497B (maybe) listed surge protector.

7 knots  tied   no less  no more ?
Lee is right  i was on my back screened porch  few years  ago; lighting hit my fence way off to my right  -  a blue laser streak of lightning -  went just in front of the screen by me - close  encounter  but it was definitely straight!
