Both parties sign one document, the subscriber receives the fully executed copy automatically, and that delivery is logged and timestamped. Every signature comes with a complete audit trail: who signed, when, and how. The Cancellation Notice and other required forms get signed in the same session. The signed original then sits in an eVault as a single tamper-evident copy that can’t be lost or misplaced. When it’s time to sell accounts, a buyer can verify every contract and take control of the originals through a vault-to-vault transfer. That’s what protects the multiple. Loyva does this for the alarm industry, including Kirschenbaum Contracts, in one workflow. More at loyva.io Nicholas Tyson ************************* Response ************************* Electronic “fixes all” issues, maybe. That assumes that the electronic execution automatically completes the requirements that would be in place if hard copies were being signed. That means presenting the contract, the cancellation form, the disclosure and consent for electronic communication; disclaimer notice too and other forms that are applicable to the transaction. I favor electronic, when done right, because it’s easier to get signed and contract length is less an issue. Loyva is listed on The Alarm Exchange. I’ll save you the trouble of going there: here is its listing: Loyva – Purpose-Built eVault & eSignature for the Alarm Industry.
