We feel your comments for recommending ONLY one insurance carrier are a little flawed. It would be similar to only recommending a Tesla for everyone. Teslas are amazing vehicles, but not for everyone. Just as there are many different reasons for purchasing a vehicle (performance, off road, sports, work-vans, teenage vehicles, etc.) there are as many different needs for different dealers. One carrier is not the best for all dealers.
The Insurance Center is an independent insurance agency which provides many insurance carrier options in the security industry. Our offering is similar to a car dealer offering multiple new makes and models of vehicles, whichever best meets your needs (including Security America).
Many factors determine rate and the need of coverage. The larger you are, the more coverage you need. Each carrier may determine exposure in different ways: payroll, revenue, head count, etc. Having options can save you money while still being properly protected.
At The Insurance Center, we are excited to represent multiple insurance carriers, including Security America. Whether you go direct with Security America or use The Insurance Center, the premiums are the exact same! So why would you not use an independent insurance agency to represent you with the ability to provide additional options for you?
We love security America and use them often, but they are not the only carrier out in the security industry. I did recommend Security American as your E&O carrier and the reasons were explained in my comments; I think Security America understands defending claims, and that is ultimately, for me, the most important consideration for the E&O carrier. I did point out that there are other carriers and I did encourage using an insurance broker, of course including Shawn. Shawn is likely correct that one carrier may be better than another for your company for one reason or another. But, if you meet with Shawn or your broker I think you should start with discussing Security America and find out why it's not for you or that another carrier is a better choice for you.

Here is what I stated in my prior comment; no reason to change it.
"There is one carrier that knows what your coverage is for and how to handle it. I've recommended Security America before, and it's still the go-to carrier for the alarm industry E&O coverage. It's owned by the alarm industry; join ESX and become an "owner". It's backed by Lloyds of London; its A Rated. Security American is listed on The Alarm Exchange and it's participating in the private meetings at ISC arranged by K&K staff; see the notice above. I'm told you will be able to actually get a quote for coverage at your private meeting. You don't need an insurance broker to get Security America insurance, but you can use you broker if you wish.
Yes there are other carriers, and your insurance broker may recommend one over another. But from my perspective, which generally comes into focus when a claim arises, my recommendation starts and stops with Security America. Take advantage of the private meeting if coming to ISC, and if not, check the The Alarm Exchange and contact Security America today."
