Beginning plans for ISC schedule
*************************
K&K will be formulating plans for its ISC schedule in next week or so.  There are a few promotional opportunities available that I am considering.  Contact me or my office [Kathleen 516 747 6700 x 319] if you want to participate in any of the opportunities below:
*****
Pre- ISC:  Webinars - Partcipation in webinars closes out Feb 26, 2025.  No exceptions if you want your presentation publicized

I’d like to schedule Webinars by Central Stations.  Plan would be for central station to focus on its unique qualities and evolving changes over the last year.  Each webinar would be one hour, including some Q&A time.  March 17 to March 28.  Introduce yourself and encourage dealers to meet with you at your ISC booth.  Call Kathleen to schedule: 516 747 6700 x 319.
*****
Another schedule of Webinars by Insurance brokers or business brokers; also one hour including Q&A, between March 10 and March 19.
*****
If there is interest we will also promote webinars for Software Providers; same format between March 10 and March 21.
***************
   At ISC:
K&K will be scheduling Group meetings with Ken Kirschenbaum and others who want to lead a group meeting on topics to be announced, and private meetings [yes, free] with Ken at ISC, time permitting.  Contact Kathleen to express interest and reserve your spots.
Time is limited so call Kathleen asap to express interest and book time slot.  516 747 6700 x 319.

Who to use for E&O insurance
****************************
Ken:
I am wondering if you are able to inform me (and the group) who the insurance carrier was that was giving ‘issues of coverage’ on the 4-million dollar claim.  I’m currently with Traveler’s program and the more I think about your article, the less sleep I got this past weekend.
The issue I have with Security America is the rating is not ‘A’ as many of my subscribers require that rating.
   Respectfully

The carrier that is questioning coverage for this obvious E&O burglary loss claim is Champlain Specialty Insurance Company – through West Congress Insurance Services, LLC.  I asked the insurance broker about the carrier and she told me she no longer places insurance with this company.  I also asked why she wasn’t recommending Security America and she, surprisingly, said that she didn’t know Security America was still writing.
Well Security America is writing E&O for the industry, and it’s where you should be; at least make it your first stop in your quest for E&O coverage.  Here’s why:
Security America is absolutely A rated.  When first starting as a RRG it was B+.  No longer.   America is the only insurance product built by the Security Industry for the Security Industry.  By combining the first-hand knowledge of the industry from association members and underwriting expertise, the program has maintained stable rates for more than 15 years.  Security America offers competitive, A Rated Coverage.  Security America is on The Alarm Exchange.  Reach out to the Security America team at info@securityamericains.com.  You don’t need an insurance broker but If you have a local agent Security America will be happy to work with your local insurance broker.
I’d like to get Security America to do a group webinar at ISC for those dealers who need or are looking for E&O coverage.  Security America – let Kathleen know if you’re interested.
