Ken Kirschenbaum, Esq. has a general civil transactional and commercial litigation practice.  He is recognized throughout the United States as a legal expert in the electronic security, fire, electronic integration, security guard industry for licensing, contracts , defense litigation and transactional matters.  His standardized contracts are used by a majority of alarm companies in the United States and internationally.  He has extensive experience in contract negotiations and drafting.       Ken expereince in real estate transactional matters and real property litigation is enhanced by his unique experience of working with his father, Samuel, who was an acknowledged expert in title insurance litigation. 
      Ken handles or supervises the firms attorneys handling civil litigation matters from medical doctors, health care provider issues, construction, employment and contract disputes of all matters.
      Within the New York metropolitan area Ken is well regarded and is one of the longest serving United States Bankruptcy Trustees in the Eastern DIstrict of New York, a position that affords a unique perspective on many areas of law.

Kenneth Kirschenbaum founded Kirschenbaum & Kirschenbaum, P.C., in 1977, and since that time has maintained a general practice law firm handling matters for clients ranging from burglar and fire alarm law, general litigation, commercial litigation, general corporate work, matrimonial, and real estate.  In 1984 Samuel Kirschenbaum retired as senior litigation partner at Dreyer and Traub and joined the firm, specializing in title insurance litigation and related real estate litigation matters. 

Mr. Kirschenbaum is a recognized legal expert in burglar and fire alarm law and security guard law. His contracts for alarm fire and security industry are in use throughout the United States and in Canada.  Ken was inducted into the Security Sales & Integration Hall of Fame in 2009 in recognition for his distinguished service to the security and fire alarm industry.  Ken authors a daily news article that is distributed and read by more alarm industry professionals than any other publication, paper or electronic, which forum provides an interactive platform for exchange of ideas within the alarm industry.  Ken also makes available The Alarm Exchange which provides classifieds in an electronic platform to the alarm industry and vendors serving the alarm industry. Ken Kirschenbaum is a sought after speaker in the alarm industry and has made guest presentations to numerous alarm trade associations throughout the United States.
