Notice of cancellation start and end date
*************************
Ken,
My question concerns the Notice of Cancellation; the section “NOT LATER THAN MIDNIGHT OF ________”.  I have a question in regards to “Midnight” and what date to use.  I am unsure if Midnight marks the end or beginning of the date to be used.  The internet is ambiguous and I prefer to hear from the Gold Standard on all things legal in our industry.  Please shed some light on this.
Kind regards,
Anonymous

The 3 day Notice of Cancellation must be given to the consumer the same time as the fully executed residential contract.  That is the start of the 3 days.  The alarm company is required to provide the Cancellation Notice and put in the last date the form must be sent to the alarm company.  So if the contract is dated and delivered in January 1, the date you insert into the Cancellation Form is January 4.  We provide the form with our residential contracts.

thinking it’s time to update monitoring and service agreements

Ken,
We are thinking it’s time to update our monitoring and service agreements.  Would you be able to send us a copy of your monitoring agreement and service agreement so we can determine what direction we need to go?
Best Regards,
Jackie

No, but I can tell  you what direction you should be going, and it’s not backwards or  sideways.  It’s up.  You need to focus on RMR growth.  The RMR needs to be under proper contract to maximize its value.  You need the All in One agreements and Disclaimer Notice. If you’re an alarm.com dealer you need the alarm.com Rider.
Ask me again, maybe in different way.  Answer will be the same,  You need the All in One agreements and Disclaimer Notice. If you’re an alarm.com dealer you need the alarm.com Rider.
If you do commercial, then you need the Commercial All in One.  Residential, the Residential All in One.  Commercial fire?  The Commercial Fire All in One.
What about access control?  What about cameras?  Both covered in the All in One.  Still have doubts or questions?  Call our Contract Administrator Eileen Wagda at 516 747 6700 x 312.
If you’re a Concierge Client, or thinking about becoming one, call Program Coordinator Stacy Spector,Esq at 516 747 6700 x 304 for assistance and information.
