How often do I have to update my business associate agreements?

Answer:

Most BAAs do not have to be updated or replaced, short of a regulatory change, which just doesn't happen that often.  HIPAA has not changed since 2013 with regards to BAAs.  If you have a correct version, or if you happen to have K&Ks with indemnification, you are in good shape!  Something to watch out for - if for some reason your initial BAA had a term in it that could expire - try to avoid that so you don't have to worry about re-upping or replacing.
