follow up on the "free" alarm contract

If the “free alarm” contract modification is ordered when purchasing the Residential All in One, can the same contract also still be used to sell an alarm system that is NOT free?
Well, I think my first choice would be to try to sell the customer a system that is “not” free.  In other words, a FANCIER system.  But if the customer brings up the competition and that they offer “free” systems, I would like to be able to offer them a free system, too.  A more basic system, I suppose.  I would like to save some money, can I use the regular Residential All in One and try to write in the terms for a “free” system as the case arises?

Good question.  The "free" alarm system contract merely waives the "basic" purchase price.  It then recoups that price, pro rata, if there is a default by the subscriber.  You can use this form agreement for a regular sale, but your subscriber is going to see the "waived" purchase price option and wonder why it's not being offered.  I'd keep the contracts separate.  Also keep in mind that the basic system typically isn't enough, so there is good opportunity for "extras", the price of which is not waived.
You are not going to be able to properly modify the Residential All in One to provide for the free basic system on your own; best to buy the proper form.
If you order the regular Residential All in One at the same time as the "free" system Residential All in One, the second contract is half price.  Call our Contract Administrator Eileen Wagda at 516 747 6700 x 312 to make arrangements for the order.

Robbie,
You will be missed for sure. If your travels ever bring you to the Philadelphia area, give me a heads up. It would be my honor to buy you dinner.

That explains a lot.\

I think he was kidding.  I am willing to bet he hasn't arrested a single alarm company owner yet.  Maybe more opportunity in his new role.
