Are you still using foil on windows?

      February 25, 2013

Are you still using foil on windows?  Still installing dialers that call 911 with a recorded message?  Think a handshake is the only way to do business?  Think cellular and radio communication is a fad?  That alarm verification requirements are just a suggestion, not really required?  That you don't need to know anything about streaming video or access control?  No point submitting fire permit applications and giving the AHJ a head's up on your job?

If you answered yes to any of the above, read no further.  In fact, if you answered yes to any of the above my guess is that someone else is reading this to you because you don't have an email address, don't bother reading your emails, don't use your computer and don't have a smart phone either.  I hope for your sake you're already rich.

But if you're not, you're no longer using foil.  And, you shouldn't be using the same contracts that you used when you were using foil.  Hard to believe how may guys are still using those old contracts.  What's an old contract?  Hold on to your seat.

An old contract is one that you haven't updated since January 2013.  That's right.  That's the date for the latest new or updated contracts.  What's new?  The Commercial All in One.  This is the one you use if you're installing security, non fire, systems, from intrusion, video, access control - covers the installation, monitoring, guard or runner service, inspection, data storage, service.  Why does it work so well?  It separates all the services and provides for separate RMR for each service.  This contract lays it all out and all you need to do is get it filled out and signed.

The Residential All in One has been updated and lays out like the commercial form, but it complies with consumer regulations.

The Commercial Lease is totally revised so that it lays out and covers the same services as the Commercial All in One, except it's a lease.

The Fire All in One remains current.  The Fire Alarm Lease has been completely upgraded to cover the same services as the Fire All in One [which is a sale contract].

Use state of the art equipment, systems and services.  Combined with the most up to date contracts you'll sleep better and build your business faster.  Call our Contract Administrator, Eileen Wagda, for more information 516 747 6700 x 312.
